Right and Wrong

I just want to be loved.

I just want to be cared for .

Yet it seems hatred is all we stand for , Where's the respect that we preach so much?

We should be happy for one another, yet what we have we seldom seem to want.

Why would you want to take another person's happiness, leave them behind, for what ? to relieve your own mind ?

Why are we selfish when we're taught to be kind to thy neighbor?

Our hatred drowning out love , like it's already been paid for .

It's childish and dumb but as one gets older you become numb .

Why do we apologize, when that not really what we feel inside? Just filling our hearts with lies.

Your "word" is your bond .. .these days that too has long been gone., Falling apart day by day, meaningless words just to make them feel okay..

Nobody really thinks about what they say and wonder why in the end it causes so much pain.

Why is life so unfair? The good times are always followed by the bad, and bad times are all some people really have.

Even when things seem alright someone always comes along and turns off the light.

Why can't people accept one another ? Everyone's different, even your sisters, or your brothers.

Sometimes I don't agree with life ,Why do they always say it'll be alright ? Where do we draw the line between right and wrong when what we thought was right has been wrong all along ?
