Riddled with Flaws

Who are we and why are we here?

By Trevor BessPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

The world is changing in such a way

The laws of nature pause

we embrace new knowledge every day

but mankind is riddled with flaws

Sometimes I feel we have no voice

In the things we try to say

Only to find out there is a choice

We must push hard in a special way

The forthcoming is upon us

our thoughts and dreams seem so real

nations will sit down with things to discuss

as they share a humble meal

I believe its fate calling out loud

crying to say I’m alive

in the air of all that misty cloud

wanting mankind to strive

Sometimes I feel the sky has fallen to the ground

I look, I see, I hear

with no one there to look around

in a moment it just disappears

Its time to flex and be bold

keeping our minds on the prize

excepting the good things you are told

this helps us stay streetwise

who says the end is near

the ones that instill hate and fear

the key now is to stay strong

for all we know, the end has already come and gone
