Riddle me this limerick.

I have doth returned to typing

back to the old days of hiking

where wildflowers bend

and creeks and brooks end

and find flowers all to your liking

you see a shape high up in the sky

and it comes out this time in july

with its dips and dives

climbing up in the sky

and kids play this as they rise and shine

you see a diamond the in clouds

and many times fly in a huge crowd

though the wind may blow

and come too and throw

this item is not known for its sound.

What could it possibly be?
