Review Yourself

In solitude, as often as you can

You are a human —

flawed as such.

To that rising stress

will take its toll

if you don’t sit in solitude

to review your own mind,

you are in trouble.

It’s very likely

you will make mistakes

and self-sabotage too.

So carve out time,

be your own critic.

come back to your lane

if you’ve drifted into someone else’s —

or risk hitting the curb.

I see too many

make mistakes,

refuse to own them,

and rather carry on

as if they’re right.

It’s to hide lies,

to avoid guilt —

and that’s how

a person becomes a psychopath.

Being true to yourself

is the real goal —

not being important.
