Returning to Yellow

a poem

By Jennifer ThomasPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

I can feel the buzzing, rumbling Vibrating

swarming

Down inside

Waggle dance ripple thrum

Hive energy happiness

The Glimmer flicker flash of

Warm nectar

gooey Oozing amber shining

sweet sugary candy drops

dripping

Filling my heart

Sacred expression of Joy

I can see your light

Morning incandescence

Ready to burst, to break

to Rise

I watched

I stood by while you diminished with fear,

uncertainty, loneliness

Viral end times with closed curtains

Faces covered

locked indoors

In Hearts

deep down protected

my core

My life, my light

Only a quiver remained

Sacred expression of Joy

I can feel the warmth

The growing fulvous flame

sparking, dancing

Hungry for air

I can see you Sunbeam strength Beating

pulsing

from 93 million miles away

Way down

Radial stream guiding

Shooting stars in my heart

From my soul

Emerging arrows Aiming upward

gravity resistant

Out of this world

Back into my life

Sacred expression of Joy

I know you from fragrant

Honeysuckle hugs by Beauty herself

Reflecting projecting

The seraphic Haven within

I remember young days

in summer citrus dresses

Fun fresh juicy squeezy

Eyes closed Twirling dreaming smiling

Divine happiness of Childhood

Kodak Koda-Chrome views

Dandelions golden hope blossoms

Rushing up, swaying breezing

Blooming back

Closer to who I was

Who I am again

inspirational
