Retreating Supernova

amongst a galaxy of prayers…

God has sinned against me

The melody of his treachery

ushered in an age of melancholia

Its synth origins echo

the pain i endure and the void

that eats away at my soul

My prayers were a waste

He slew my twin flame

and thieved the soul that remained

From my better half’s absence

spores of sadness sprung

Their parasitic nature adored

the wounds within my core

They feed from my sanity

and defile my reasoning with

their relentless egg sacks

I charge God for His crime!

He must be held accountable

and made to rectify His mistake

My kindred soul and i must

reunite within the embers

of God’s due apology

This affront against destiny

may not stand the test of time

My soulmate was mine

by decree of Fate’s promise

We were to grow old

like eden’s fruit

and rise into heaven together

These dreams were dust

swept away by His broom of

mischief and debasement

He ran from His wrongdoings

and scurried away to paradise

If I could but reach Him and ask

Why?
