Restoring

-*-
One step at a time,
planning every move;
carefully mending
and no intent to reprove.
-*-
There is so much pain
because of the gash,
but that will not change
if I try to rehash.
-*-
Crying? Not allowed,
Complains? better not;
only allowed to indurate,
but my soul is quite rough.
-*-
After all of this ends
and I can see myself,
I'll know if the pieces
again make some sense.
-*-
In the worst scenario
where I am a new me,
well, I may have changed,
but I will be completed.

About the Creator
Alex Torres
Started writing short stories back in 1988 at work, when I had an empty page to fill for the employee's internal magazine. Taking the pen again after a 30 year-long hiatus, exploring where it takes me this time.
