Trapped in a cycle, I repeat the pain

Ignoring red flags, loving in vain

Wishing to try, but regret's the cost

Hurt at home, hurt outside, forever lost

No one to confide in, no shoulder to cry

Loneliness surrounds me, a constant sigh

Broken by the past, yet I love again

Blinded by hope, despite the warning signs and pain

A new heart beats fast, but danger lurks near

Red flags waving high, yet I hold him dear

Why do I ignore the signs, the warning bells?

Why do I fall again, and let love compel?

Am I doomed to loneliness, forever alone?

Or will I break free, and find a love that's home?

Only time will tell, as I navigate the night

And search for a love that shines with a gentle light.
