Remember Why Christmas Is Celebrated
It is not about the presents, but Jesus's presence.
We celebrate Christmas once a year;
But we should keep it all year long.
Every year during the season
Church leaders tell us what Christmas means.
This holiday's celebrated
By adults, children too.
I think some people don't understand
What this holiday's about.
There are people who live alone
Because their spouses, kids have died.
They don't like Christmas.
For reasons plain to you and me.
We should be grateful for our gifts
Although we wanted something else.
All the joys which we give away
Will be retured to us one day.
We should try to have unity;
Say to ourselves "What would Jesus do?
Remember those who are homeless
During this special holiday.

You have such insight for the holiday. I am one of those people who do not celebrate anymore. It is too painful, and be should be grateful for what they have, one person that loves them. I would give anything to have my son back for just one day. Nicely done - an extremely true and wonderful piece.
