Remember Who the Real Enemy Is

a poem/prose about not losing focus on the real problems

By CT IdlehousePublished 7 months ago 1 min read

They light all the fires to keep you distracted...

They sow the discord to keep you fighting red herrings.

They stir up cultural wars to keep us divided...

They train their brainwashed minions to keep up contention.

/

Don't you know that you're a pawn in their game?

And when they're done with you,

They'll erase you all the same?

Don't you know that they don't give a fuck?

That all the money and protection they promised

Is as fake as their love?

/

Remember who the real enemy is...

It isn't immigrants or LGBTQ kids.

It's the ivory tower full of greedy oligarchy pigs...

Drop your hatred,

Lock and load,

And let the rebellion begin.

/

All we the people ever wanted was peace...

But half of this country is too illiterate to read

About the real facts, real problems, real ways to solve them...

You rather believe a bankrupting coward on a leash.

/

Don't you know you're just a token to them?

You'll be sent to the camps

When their goalposts shift.

Don't you know you're just a nice ass to them?

They don't respect women,

Not even ones that they sleep with.

/

Remember who the real enemy is...

It isn't Pride events or women who don't want kids.

It's the ivory tower full of greedy oligarchy pigs...

Drop your hatred,

Lock and load,

And let the rebellion begin.
