Do you remember everything?

Playing out in the summer rain

Spilled cocoa that caused a mattress stain

Or the kisses that numbed every pain?

Do you Remember?

The night we stayed up almost ‘till dawn

Sitting in chairs, laughing on the front lawn

Or the last goodbyes before either of us were gone?

Do you remember?

Driving cross-country blasting show-tunes

The times just spent staring at the silver moon

Or the times waiting for the next visit that was never too soon?

I remember

I remember it fondly

I wish there were more things to remember
