Remember When
Remember when we were so young and carefree
Remember when it was just you and me
The formed relationship concrete where we belong
Our life was fulfilling, and our love was strong
Through this love our children were born
We adored these precious gifts through starry eyes
Wondrous joy they brought to our lives
Through the years the changes began to show
The visions of our future were stunted from growth
Periods of time felt as they went by in a flash
Ideas for the decades to come started to clash
Events got in the way, and we were torn apart
On the floor were pieces of our heart
We have moved on separately and started a new
Each found love through a different avenue
Our children are grown and have moved on
We keep memories that are so fond
With all the good and bad times, we had together
Those who suffers always remembers
