Breakup

In the dawn of our love's tender embrace,

Whispers of forever filled the air,

Two souls entwined without a care,

Bound by dreams we dared to chase,

But time's fickle hand erased,

Now shadows replace,

Echoes efface,

Gone without trace,

Love's last cry,

Goodbye.

Each word a dagger, cutting deep,

Unraveling the tapestry,

Threads of love torn hastily,

Once vibrant colors seep,

Now darkness, so steep,

A bitter sweep,

Hearts we keep,

In this sleep,

Lonely,

Free.

Lost in the labyrinth of regret,

Paths we walked, now diverge apart,

Once blazing flames now flicker, start

To fade into silhouettes,

Memories a poignant art,

Love's requiem, chart

Of broken hearts,

Fractured parts,

We depart,

Ashes,

Gone.

Beyond the pain, a new dawn will rise,

Healing wounds with gentle light,

Though scars remain, we'll take flight,

Towards horizons, wise,

For love's tender sighs,

In hearts' reprise,

Hope defies,

Fate's lies,

Renew,

True.

In solitude's embrace, we find grace,

Lessons learned, though bitter sweet,

Footsteps echo, soft retreat,

From the once shared space,

Yet love's embrace,

In time's embrace,

Will erase,

And replace,

With peace,

Still.

The story ends, yet life goes on,

New chapters yet to be written,

From the ashes, hearts smitten,

Rising like the dawn,

Brave and reborn,

Love's forlorn,

Now adorn,

With dawn's morn,

Anew,

True.

So here we part, with gratitude,

For what once was, and what will be,

In the tapestry of memory,

A thread of fortitude,

In the heart's solitude,

Love pursued,

In quietude,

Ever crude,

Yet true,

Adieu.
