Regrets of a Father

A journey of love

By Rohitha LankaPublished 9 months ago 1 min read

When you brought your daughter to the doctor, I was immediately shocked....

Are you going to marry me?

That day, she begged me...

Is she crazy?

So, how many girls should I marry?

I laughed...

Make a deal

When the boys told me to do my job,

I left many girls...

Son, you will understand someday when you become a father.

A mother told you to your face...

No matter what stories

whoever tells you,

I had a beautiful wedding and married a rich girl...

When he held the pregnancy report in his hand, he felt something strange...

Even though the baby was big,

I still experienced the feeling of being a father...

Am I really a girl or a boy?

See who it is, Adi Madi...

Whoever it is, my child passed away in ten months...

Why did you not take my daughter in your arms out of fear?

You brought me back to the past with that voice...

With a trembling voice, I took my little daughter in my arms...

Son, you will understand.

When I became a father,

those words started echoing in my ears...

Will my daughter be able to protect me?

How many more men like me are there?

My heart started to ache...

So,

for the mistakes I had made,

I started to regret them for the rest of my life.

When I saw my daughter,

I started to regret them.
