Regardless of what, I will still.

No matter.

By Jordan ZunigaPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

If once I told, so young and bold,

Of my heart to you, then and there was sold,

The deepest devotion, so eager and true,

Of my thoughts and desires, my hopes for you,

Yet times had past and storms would come,

Were pain was wrought and made us numb,

With bickering's and fights both day and night,

Made such hearts callous and spirits so contrite.

The shouts, the screams, the painful debates,

Of what was despised and all it hates,

Through separated moments of tears and grief,

Confused of what could bring relief,

I would come to you, and hold you tight,

And say, “Through it all, I still love you despite,

That regardless of how and whose to blame,

I still love you deeply, all the same,”

Love is not determined of what was right or wrong,

But who still, despite the storm, inspires your song!

If the earth should tremble, and the storm comes in the heavens above,

You are my desire, my deepest affection towards you, my dearest love…
