there is some kind of maturity that is too abstract to explain when you come back to a piece of writing and edit it.
(reword, rephrase, rewrite)
it’s also frightening.
in moments like that you realise you’ve learnt a little more and aged a little more.
there are two ways you age,
like fine wine
or in a bathroom somewhere, specifically after hours. (this is a common feeling of deja vu)
yesterday i came back and rewrote your story. its no longer described with adjectives and flair like how they teach you in school. but written with metaphors that hit closer to the heart.
About the Creator
Bahar Bayani
melodramatic.
