Reese’s Pieces, Candy Kaleidoscope

~

By Rowan Finley Published about a year ago Updated about a year ago 1 min read

I was being a bit of a mope,

until my dear friend Cope,

stopped by to bring me Reese's peanut butter cups and a kaleidoscope!

What jolly jiggling gleeful fun,

before all was said and done.

I must confess,

it didn’t take long for me to get buried in chocolatey goodness.

Oh, the balance of sweet and salty!

Nothing to this gratification is faulty.

Do I spy with my sugar eye a sugar coma coming?

Likely yes, soon all that is heard is snoring and humming…

Your poem's great, but I'm hallucinating after seeing this kind of picture multiple times... Is this your ceiling or something? It's confusing and cool at the same time. 😵🥴

That one came out cool...I like the paper plate one too. Fun poem, at least Cope brings chocolate and not other things...😊
