Red blue ghost

Red-blue ghost muse

Hide away from my red blotches and blue hues

Red-blue ghost lounged in my vessels

And tugged at strings they never intended to hold,

Red-blue ghost muse

Got everything from my first, last and everlasting

Heartfelt reminders

Now I cut the line

As they dug a trough

That became a long trench

Of lost lemon blue-red peppered pain

Like bruises no one can see

Like bruises no one can understand

Whispering only sentimental things that I can no longer comprehend

Because they deserted me

Leaving me in icy red blue pain.

Which is worse: red-blue or black & blue? Broken body or broken heart? Either one is the pits.
