Origami king
Folds his papers tight
Tightly moving round and round
Folding, molding,
sculpting masterpieces with expert precision
Yet it’ll still fails him
Falling apart from weighing expectations
For a master’s craft expects so much from him
Makes him tear himself apart
Till he’s nothing but shreds of himself,
Whistling in the breeze
Paper shredder screams with every failure
Before he pulls the bag of shedded tears out
He’ll build again,
Start anew,
Use what failed him to make something new
“If I can’t make one good idea
I’ll just take all the best of my worsts
And cobble my monster of many”
The king laughs as he works
Works to create his masterpiece
His masterpiece he names
“Reconstruction”
