Recharging...

Be back and better later

By The Dani WriterPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

Where would I be without this wall

Exposed and defenseless at the mercy of all

Introverts don’t cope well

Can’t regenerate, unwind, or even mope well

without permanent partitions

facilitated by bricks-and-mortar prime real estate

provision of options

division of space

maintenance of sanity via bland canvas of grace

Depletion equals danger

Exposed nerves make a stranger

of the person you thought you knew

who’d have fought you too

from delirium-based interactions

with insufficient spacers

exponential liquor shots

without coefficient chasers

A mass conglomerate of all you have shared

both sorrows and joys without fail we have cared

whilst internal process silent we have spared

you them others

beneath him

those

above hers

since superseding self

became an art

the thing we learned

without being taught

misunderstood souls in freefall

without being caught

so how would we fare

and fragility forestall

and Holy Mother of Goddess

where would we be...

without this wall
