Life is never easy
when your on your own
dreams may come
Dreams may go
living each day
trying to find a way
proving to yourself alone
that there is reason in life
finding reasons to dream on
when dreams always seem to die
never letting tears fall
for all that never was
your loneliness
drives you to the edge
think about it hard
before you do something
that can't be healed
you've only got one life to live
and one you're dead
that's it
there's no second chances
somewhere there's a person
who will be your friend
someone on who you can depend
all it takes is patience
don't bring your life
to a violent end.

Thoughts on Vocal and the way the world is
"Death cannot stop true love, only delay it." – Wesley in The Princess Bride. I decided to come back to Vocal on a very cold and dark night at the end of December. I had been, and still am, convalescing from a horrible staph infection that had gone misdiagnosed for months. This, paired with the increasing challenges of being healthy, making the best choices for my co-parented child, being a wife, and being a director at a new job, was a lot to manage.
