Please before it’s too late tell me you want me
Realise it’s me you want
On your darkest days,
did my warmth melt your heart?
Did you realize I am the one,
your body and mind desire?
It’s me that set your heart on fire
or did you still deny,
those strongest feelings as not true,
even when you know, deep inside,
we will always be connected as one?
Did you push away the heat of my touch,
afraid of what it is meant to feel?
Did you silence the voice
The voice that called my name,
drowning in the comfort of denial?
Yet love does not wane with distance,
nor fade with time’s cruel hand.
No matter how far you run,
you will find me in the embers,
a flame that never dies.
Waiting for you to take me back
To a world we both belong.
