Reach The Yellow Lantern
And Ignore the World For Now

I lost a deal I’d chased for weeks,
Through whispered lies and guarded leaks.
Their words were smooth, their motives thin—
A game of masks, I’d wandered in.
So off I went, to woods unknown,
To find a space to stand alone.
The road grew wild, the stars grew near,
Where the noise of men could not reach here.
They said, “Just follow the light so true,
A yellow lantern waits for you.”
And when it glowed through mist and pine,
I felt its flame was somehow mine.
No phones, no greed, no paper chase,
Just air, wind, and nature’s grace.
The deer moved ghostlike through the trees,
The moon held breath on midnight’s breeze.
With the lantern’s glow, my mind took flight,
The forest whispered truths of light.
I lost the world yet found much more—
A burning peace I couldn’t ignore.
