Re-Inspired

Hope hold on

Re-inspired

Forever I look,

The countless faces,

Visible but not seen,

Could I recount a single one,

A swarm of stories, emotions,

Hidden in pain and plain sight,

No one’s concern, not mine,

Recount the day, my space,

Predicting futures, to my knees,

Recount they way back to my place,

A place of purpose,

Get through trooper,

Round and round we go,

Again,

Fleeting encounters at counters,

A fleeting smile and a thank you,

Fleeing forward at full pace,

Lean in,

Connection lost,

Connection stolen,

By me the executor,

Of thy will,

There was content on these pages once,

A plague of inspiration clear,

Although there are more pages now ,

The sight is all but clear,

Take turns at helping those,

Who have all but lost the will,

To grow and self impose,

To weather it all,

On the chin.

I know I can see clearer,

But it’s hard to self relate,

When concentration turned around,

I could not see thy face,

For I forgive to the universe,

For the swift kick in the side,

Because that same power that let me down,

Is the one that helps me thrive,

In a mass of mountains high and strong,

I will stand straight and tall,

At the base of every mountain,

It’s impossible to fall,

I will try harder to see you,

Although the world now weeps,

For there is wonder in the wild,

Until you lay down and sleep.

Hope be my foundation,

To recount those old stone walls,

And the foundry that supplied the air,

Scrawls promise on the walls,

I had forgotten how to run,

Now content with just a walk,

Looking for the inspiration,

To fly high akin to hawk,

I like the direction,

Although Its not so clear,

In time those trodden paths I travel,

New paths are surely near,

Alas I ask the mentor,

To guide me to true north,

My fear is disappearing,

So with resolve I move forth.
