I had a realization today
Not negative
Nor positive
It just was what it was
My friends and family
have seen my posts
about my writings
and my in the process book.
Some have taken a peek
others have taken a look.
But I don't expect they read each story
every time a new one posts
honestly I'm not complaining at all
just speaking out my ghosts
They know my pain and struggle
but not all in written verse
They've seen my falls and victories
and to God himself I cursed
I suspect most won't read this though
until I'm dead and gone
Will it touch them in a different way?
Will they see where I come from?
Cause there is something about
knowing a person's hurts
but I feel it's different seeing it
written out with beautiful words.

I really like this! Sometimes you are just saying something, writing something, just to get it out. Just to put it out there. I understand that. But you do always wonder if people will see those things. I guess that's part of writing, huh? You're doing it for a number of reasons, and one of the main ones is yourself. And then whoever reads it is whoever reads it. That would be the part that comes naturally. I thought these words you used were beautiful for this!
