Scrolling Facebook and I see a dinosaur
For the next twenty minutes I'm gone
Thinking literally on just how cool dinosaurs are
I really wish I understood my brain
~
Time to settle down for writing
I know what I'm putting down next
My fingers move to start typing
But then I think about dinosaurs again
~
Now it's time for house chores
I'll do my writing later I promise
Start humming the theme of the greatest dinosaur movie ever
Now I'm still thinking about dinosaurs
~
Now nothing happening
I can finally write in peace
I've banished all other thoughts from my mind
Dammit there's a dinosaur!
