Supporting someone

What does it really mean?

To hug them or to lend an ear

There are so many things

~

We as humans are not solitary beings

We need others to survive

We can't take on the world alone

If we do eventually we'll die inside

~

The world can be cold, cruel, and crushing

Beating us down till we have nothing left

That's when support is the most needed

Even if we won't reach out and ask

~

We often shy away from speaking

Of all that's going on

But know that it's okay to say

"I just need a little support right now."

It's been tough for everybody and that's honestly an understatement. This time more than ever is the time to reach out to anyone and everyone you know who might be in need of a little support. Even if it's just a hug or sitting and listening to what's going on. But I say this to you, the reader, I want you to know that I'm rooting for you. I support you even if I don't know you.
