Rainy Days

The rain falls steadily on the roof,

the clock ticks away,

steam pours out of the cup,

it's just another dreary day.

A fire blazing on the stove,

book pages being turned,

couple cuddling on the couch,

it's just another dreary day.

The dog is sleeping on the rug,

the cat is lazing on the bed,

the house is silently sleeping,

it's just another dreary day.

Children staring out the window,

longing for the sun,

dreaming about summers fun,

it's just another dreary day.

So when the rain starts falling,
