Raining Stars

A Dance of Rain, Nostalgia...

I believe I've seen this before,

Though I can't remember when.

I seem to notice the nostalgia,

I can feel it now and I could feel it then.

I could feel your warmth and smiles,

Your tender caring eyes.

The way you held me in the rain,

The way my heart rate began to rise.

I felt something special deep in my chest,

I felt something somewhat dear inside.

I couldn't place where I've felt it in my past,

But I somehow knew this would be one heck of a ride.

Can you feel my smiles?

My heart that beats for you?

Can you hear my words,

The words I speak are true.

I tell you of my love for you,

I tell you my whole story.

So please now tell me yours,

Tell me do you adore me?

My eyes shut closed real tight,

I only wanted to feel your touch.

Can I take a moment to tell you,

That I love you very much.

Now as I said before,

I recognize this scene at play.

I seem to recall this very moment,

I seem to remember the events of today.

Maybe it was a dream,

Maybe that's how I knew.

But us dancing together in the rain,

Is bringing a romantic deja vu.
