I’ve got a million little raindrops
In my right back pocket filled
With strings and beads and glitter
To lighten up my fresh spring gild
I’ve got each and every raindrop
In its own corner seam
So nothing, nobody, never
Can’t find my little dream
Each stitch is sewed a droplet
Each glittering drip no gem
And precious may be water
But each trickle new and then
Still mulling over dew drops
And whispering to my stitches
What each new sprinkle isn’t
And when it is it wishes
Keep your thunderstorms and lightning
I’m fine here in the rain
Soaking bone dry in the eye, but
Wishing summer come this May
