Rainbow Shoes

I'd walk with you

By Samantha Jane St. RaymondPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

If you were my pride

I'd wrap you in gold

I'd brag around town

to everyone I told.

My sweet child of

blended pinks and blue

I'd celebrate each

bronze silver gold

moments with you.

If you were my pride

I'd buy you those shoes

purple has always looked

so good on you.

Everything you wear

is fashion and flair

lilacs and peach

curls in your hair.

If the world you know

came to hurt you

I would start a fight

with crimson

red maroons

blackened and blue

I'll never let them hurt you.

If you were my pride

I'd always support you

In any pallets of

colors you choose.

If I was your pride,

you'd know it was me

I'll stand beside you

and cry until

you are freed.

If I was your pride

I would walk with you

any day

in rainbow shoes

because every day

I love you.

Dedicated to every LGBTQ.
