Prologue
Rainbows are symbols of hope and promise. They also remind us of the importance of keeping vows.

Rain stops with no arc,
Only damp roads and quiet,
Promises not kept.

It does seem like a rainbow is a promise of heaven. What sadness if the promise not kept
This was so true and profound! Loved your Haiku!

I should save this great haiku to read on a rainy day.
What a visual your haiku evokes. Well done.
