Rainbow Return By The Arty Trout
Two fish that put the rainbow back

Rainbow Return By The Arty Trout
Two trout leap from choppy waves,
grey storm clouds overhead.
The sky has lost its colors,
no red, no gold, no thread.
They twist through air, bold and bright,
fins slicing wind and spray,
trying to stitch the rainbow back
into the sky’s dull day.
Their scales catch hints of color,
a shimmer, then it’s gone,
still, they rise through storm and shadow,
until the rainbow’s painted back.
So now you know the history,
of the rainbow trout.
God made them to make history.
When the rainbow light goes out.

What a surprise, rainbow colour fish, and that the word you have composed it fantastically and emotionally,y no words to say that's why I always stated you're the Queen of poetry.
