Rainbow of Richmond

I walk through Richmond,

The heartbeat of Virginia,

The rainbow illuminates the city,

It shines brighter than bright,

Let the rainbow shine,

To know that this is mine,

Let it shine,

By day and by night,

Let it fly through the air,

Like a kite,

See the city,

In all of its glory,

I hope one day,

For there to be a great story,

The sun rises and sets,

High above the James,

My shiny rainbow,

They can't tame,

It glows like a flame,

Reaches to the highest of heights,

It reaches with love,

From the bottom,

To to above.
