The red skies hail over me
Permeating my existence through time
A blinking orange light
From an exhausted aircraft
Soaks the air above us
As your flaming pinkened lips
Saturate my begging body
Yellow from the high-rising sun
Lingers in your green eyes’ reflection
I wish I knew what they see in me
Golden locks flow down
Your ivory face
Decorating your cheekbones
Only to make the indigo hoop earrings
Your ears carry jealous
Of the natural beauty you hold
With your gracious fingers permission
They accept my hand to
Become intertwined in yours
While your ever-changing
Gem-like eyes turn violet
During the rainbow-infused sunset
I was finally able to view
The sun drop in the hazy atmosphere
Through your sultry emerald-green
Violet-seduced eyes
It was the most perfect sunset
My sight permitted me to see
Especially afterwards when the moon’s
Silver shed all over me
