Apple Pie

I found Home

By Yumi RediferPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

Home tastes like your pinkened lips

After baking a homemade apple pie

The way your arms hold me wide open

Embracing my milky figure

Giving me your touch that spreads

Across my humbled body

I love you more

Than the brightness illuminated

From stars in the night sky

After a heavy rainstorm

When you’re gone

I miss you more

Than the sun

Aches for the moon

After they pass each other everyday

Your eyes shine brighter

Than the radiant sunlight

Dancing over our kitchen table

Your loving heart enveloping mine

As we are one soul

Experiencing life in two separate bodies

love poems
