Hail, Mother Nature she
Weeps without sadness.
For martyrdom does
Not become her.
•
Water-falls born from
Single drops, drips
Cascade in unison -
A lesson, I’m betrothed.
•
Parted lips heal upon
A taste, witness redemption.
Her currency’s everlasting,
With promises to enrich.
•
A gift to the lands; energy,
One sweet sip; medicates.
For all with open hands,
Can surely drink enough.

Went out to the porch with my journal to be inspired by the weather and finished with this. Much of my writing is organically inspired by nature and water, it’s what flows through me onto the page.

She rained, then she hailed, and she ended in sunshine.
