Rain

This rain keeps coming down on me

It covers me, and I wish I could walk out of it

Can’t shake it

-

Bricks on my shoulders

I keep getting advice from pricks

They don’t know this taste

-

This rain is a dark fog

It’s repelling everything that I want

Can’t make it go away

-

Heavy on my back

Quasimodo feeling motto

It’s sucking my force

-

I keep fighting though

I’m waiting for the answer

I put one leg in front, and I take one more gasp

-

One more time around

I know how this feels

Disappointing, stinging feel and no one listens

-

Nobody wants to listen

To the clangs of my heavy chains

But I keep fighting

-

I know this dark rain

It used to be black

Now I can see a little

-
