Rain

Gentle rain, on my roof; calling me to rest.

Wash away my worried day, leave refreshed my wearied mind.

Soft and cool, to the depths of my soul, God's words whispered to my whole.

Peace and rest I give to you, drink deep and sleep my precious one.

I have you in my arms tonight, and carry you through to the break of dawn.
