Rain & Ruin

whispers of a clouded heart

By Mohamed SakhiriPublished 11 months ago 1 min read
Rain, Steam and Speed - J.M.W Turner, 1844

All I asked for is a drop

I was flooded with rain

But I fear drowning

To waste it all in vain

Love came from above

To heal this pain

But am I still frowning

For my heart is stained

Lost lacking trust

My confused brain

Who should I give up?

And who should I contain?
