Round and round the rumination roundabout
Anger leaping out at random stops; a bull
Goring through my sense of self anew
Ending every piece of love for you.
Sometimes you just have to go through that ragey stage (I hope).

Step One: Lose a child. Not what anyone wants to happen and nothing you can do to change it, but you can go through steps to becoming happy again. You can go through steps to loving again. Yes, you do! Going through one of those stages at the moment. I can't seem to write poems to capture anger well like this one does. Maybe there's a sweet spot where the emotion is fresh enough but my ears aren't steaming. But maybe not. Great poem, Spinstress! Thank you for sharing it!

I guess we do have to go through it. Its is a stage of grief…and breakups can lead to grief. Great showing a raw feeling. Excellent poem.
“Rage stage” - I love the phrase although prefer to stay out of the path of people who go through it.
