Please come back

I will never,

Ever

Forgive you for what you did.

For leaving.

With no warning,

Not even the slightest,

Heads up.

It was just a quick smile,

And a simple goodbye.

You were gone in a flash,

Crushing my heart,

With your big,

Loud,

Feet.

You did it,

For selfish reasons,

Not caring,

What others felt.

It was selfish.

You made me cry,

In the middle of work,

When I found out you were going.

You’re selfish,

And I can’t forgive you.

But I still hold out hope,

That maybe one day,

You’ll come home to me.
