Those simple phrases etched in time,

That uplift you when life's out of line.

For me, it's not just one quote,

But many that bring me afloat.

From the wise words of Maya Angelou,

"To be yourself in a world that is always trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment" rings so true.

But it's also the words of Nelson Mandela,

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world" that make me full of fervor.

And when life feels like a stormy sea,

The words of Rumi speak to me,

"Life is a balance between holding on and letting go" reminds me to breathe.

So, my favorite quotes may differ,

But their essence is what makes them glitter.

For they bring light to my darkest days,

So, I hold them dear in so many ways.
