Quiet Light

A Poem

By Gabriel HuizengaPublished 3 years ago Updated 3 years ago 1 min read

There have been mornings like this before

Filled to the brim with a strange and quiet light

Which glimmers on otherwise dark surfaces

Like black coffee, or a troubled soul.

Wow. This is a jaw drop one. Only a few lines used to convey so much. Well done. Yes, you are making my decision between the three difficult lol. This feels like many mornings I've had.
