Questions of Life

But What Makes Me Unique

By Chasity CrockerPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

‘Questions of Life’

So what makes me unique?

I guess I’d have to meditate and seek.

But this is a question I often ask, then I’m reminded, not to be blinded, but that it’s you in me.

Ma priere, Mon Dieu Mon Dieu, Dear God, let your words flow out of me like lava.

Pour into my seeds like water.

Break all of the rules, why follow.

Give a what! what you think, why bother, Grab life by the balls my mantra!!

Unawaringly, knowing just where I be going,

Placed In On Purpose,

I’m feeling desert-less.

The Red, White, and Blue

I served and honor them too.

It’s black it’s white, it’s black it’s white,

put emphasis on it, I’m saying it twice!

They say Green is the ugliest thing, it runs the world, yet doesn’t illuminate things.

It’s Too bad color have complicated people or should I say; people have complicated color.

But something that defines me? I’m complicated, dedicated, meditating…on a daily. I’m growing in Nature and growing in nature! I’m what they’d call a black white girl.

I’m literal, and I’m figurative! I’m dazed and amazed, I’m just trying to live my best life the catch to that is I’m wishing it back.

After this 20/20 vision All is Forgiven’. Aye’ none of us are sin less.

It’s my prayer that the colors of the world, see life through these lenses.
