Questions

A Poem

By Kale SinclairPublished about a year ago 1 min read

If you knew that a tree could feel pain,

would you still cut it down?

If you truly knew how heavy an empty palace was,

would you still seek the weight of a crown?

If you discovered that a heart could break from silence,

would you attempt to make a sound?

If above wasn’t so below, would you dare to venture underground?

Although question marks at the end of sentences encourage us to think,

questions mark the opening of entrances our brains use to sync.

The more I read of yours, I realize we are in sync. And the paintings are breathtaking.
