Deep in a humiliating well

By Kisama Riyo Published about a year ago 1 min read

They said: What's wrong? You're crying

And your tears fill your eyes

As if you've become a prisoner

Or drowned in the depths of a humiliating well

Try to swim, come on, don't be sad

I said: And the tears of my groaning heart

Tell me: The echo of my voice is a strong rope

So be my best support, my friend

For you are the one who keeps away from me the hours of longing

And makes me forget the pain and the groaning?

I withered like a jasmine flower

And the basil withered with me

When your voice surprised me years ago?

My being was shocked and the pulse of the veins

And the heartbeats died all at once

My soul was hungry and sadness was sad

And the wing of my poor bird was broken

So the heart was filled with buried pain

And after that I became like a sad person

In my feelings the walking heart

Guide me to a path where I find a loyal friend

Don't leave me lost on the shores of the sad sea

And I have become like a bird now

Because you are not a legendary bird

And your beautiful hair will not humiliate me

So let me go so that I may

find what guides me to certainty?
