Queen Iden's Crown.
A Love That Bled For A Kingdom.

In benin's land where bronze drums beat,
lived queen iden brave and sweet.
The sky grew dark, the earth grew cold,
the kingdom’s peace was bought, not sold.
A curse had struck with silent dread,
the gods had asked a soul instead.
To save the land, one heart must die,
and none came forth, though many cried.
But iden rose with eyes like flame,
a queen, a wife, who bore no shame.
She gave her life, not with regret,
but love too deep to soon forget.
She kissed the king and touched his face,
then walked alone to take her place.
No blade could cut her will in two,
no fear could shake what love would do.
Her blood restored the crops and rain,
her name lives on in golden fame.
She taught us how a heart can shine,
when love walks first, and fear falls blind.
Now tales are told beneath the moon,
of how one woman changed our tune.
But still i ask, as stars drift gray,
does such love walk among us today?
