Photograph of Paris Rosemont in Ubud, Indonesia.
Ondine (Water)
Shimmering creature
slips ’neath cool waves; I follow—
desperate for your song.
Gaia (Earth)
What’s real anymore?
I scrape the dirt from under
my nails; this is truth.
Aura (Air)
Flickering inside
my mason jar heart; the air
is consumed by you.
Freyja (Fire)
I burn—whether with
love, lust or obsession—I
can no longer tell.

I like the individuality of each of these haikus. Beautiful dress, by the way.
