Purpose

What is your purpose? Whether we know what it is or not quite yet, we end up pursuing it in some way or another. Naturally gravitating in some kind of direction called home.

We are guilty of it, almost everyday.

There is no justification or a logical excuse.

It is simply because we are human.

They say it’s in our DNA;

Who even are they?

Tell me what you see when you come into contact with another.

And I will tell you not to judge this book by its cover.

There are different levels to this shit;

The path is subjective, selective and protected,

Our interaction and choices.

The nature of our purpose is important!

So why do we invest so much time,

When time itself is delivering its purpose,

Everything around us remains as it should,

Until your purpose is truly understood.

The naysayers will most likely be from your hood,

Because it’s easier to dim your light,

Then let you stand tall and shine,

Expect judgements upon:

Appearance,

Race,

Age,

Class,

Gender;

Apparently this is acceptable,

Apparently this is all fine!

Let the world see your true form,

Slaying your mere existence,

Enjoying the chaos and free flow,

Many come and go,

Until you find the balance!

See-saw,

Fail more,

Even if you are unsure,

Ringa ringa;

Pick yourself up,

Make it make sense please,

A snippet,

A tease?

Patience and I are frenemies,

I know my plate is full;

Even if life doesn’t give me it all,

But when you lay my beautiful head to rest,

The question still stands...

Did you fulfil your purpose?
